How to find out account or card details on your phone in the Sberbank online application?

You can use Internet banking services not only on your computer in your Sberbank personal account. Since many people actively use their phones for various financial purposes, banks have come up with special applications that also help to use Internet banking services. The application completely duplicates your personal account, so transactions carried out in the application are reflected in your personal account.

To find out your card details from your phone, you need to install the application and obtain a login and password for it through an ATM. Then you go to the application and select the card in it, information about which you need to know.

Then find the “card information” section and select it. As a result, a page with card details will open. At the very bottom there will be a button to send to your email.

By clicking on the “send” button, you will receive details in text format, which you can either print out or re-send in the same form to your employer’s accounting department. All these operations will take literally a few minutes and will save you from the need to personally visit a Sberbank branch. Good luck!

Changes in salary transfer rules in 2020

From June 1, 2021, new codes must be indicated on salary transfer slips. Banks will not accept payments without these new details from 06/01/2020.

So, in field 20 of the payment order “Name. Pl.” indicate the type of income code .

There are different codes for wages, benefits and compensation.

The new coding was required so that bailiffs knew from which payments funds could be withheld under writs of execution. Starting from 2021, you must indicate one of three codes for payments:

Until June 1, 2021, bailiffs had no way to find out what funds an individual received in their account. Neither the bailiffs nor the bank could separate the money that they had the right to withhold by law from those that could not be touched. To eliminate the problem, the new Law with amendments to the Federal Law “On Enforcement Proceedings” dated February 21, 2019 No. 12-FZ obliges employers to reflect the type of income code every time they transfer money to employees.

According to writs of execution, bailiffs have the right to write off money from the accounts of “physicists”. But not all income is legally withheld from debt. For example, you cannot write off sickness benefits or payments for a work injury. The list of such income is in paragraph 1 of Art. 101 of the Law of October 2, 2007 No. 229-FZ. The new law added one more item to it - financial assistance in emergency situations.

Legislators obliged the Bank of Russia to develop the appropriate codes and describe the system for reflecting them in salary slips (clause 5.1 of Article 70 of the Law “On Enforcement Proceedings” dated 02.10.2007 No. 229-FZ as amended by Law No. 12-FZ). Which is what he did, issuing instructions dated October 14, 2019 No. 5286-U.

The new rules apply to salary payments, settlements under GPC agreements, as well as other amounts from which debts cannot be collected.

In addition, from June 1, 2021, when transferring wages (or other income from this amount) to a bank account, the payment order must indicate the amount collected under the executive document (Part 3 of Article 98 of Law No. 229-FZ). A special procedure for indicating the collected amount in payments is given in ConsultantPlus:

It is recommended to indicate information about the collected amount in the “Purpose of payment” details of the payment order in the following sequence... (read in full).

How to protect yourself from scammers using contactless and other Sberbank bank cards?

I didn’t initially plan, but I can’t help but share my experience with you, because lately there have been more and more victims of “card” fraud. And not because the payment system is vulnerable. No. It is reliable, which is why scammers are trying to provoke you and me into rash actions. The scammers' scheme is simple and ingenious.

A girl (or young man) calls you and introduces herself in a pleasant, calm voice as an employee of the Sberbank security service. Further, it informs you that one (or more) transactions for cash withdrawal (or making purchases) are being confirmed from your card. At 4000, or 6000. And he adds: “We suspect that these are scammers.” Do you confirm these transactions?

Usually a person in such a situation immediately begins to experience stress - this is what scammers need. Next, there are several distracting business questions, which the victim, being in a state of “euphoria,” continues to willingly answer. In a businesslike tone, (as if by the way) the scammers ask you to give your card number so that the SMS you receive will supposedly cancel the withdrawal operations. And they begin to sympathetically help you with this.

If the victim follows the instructions, he loses all his funds. How does this happen? The fraudster, sitting at his computer, enters YOUR card number into Sberbank online, and then scams you out of the code sent to you via SMS. Thus, he logs into your personal account from his computer, and... Then you guessed it yourself.

And this is only one of the options for deception by card number. What to do to protect yourself from scammers? Cancel the service? No! I will briefly list the precautions that need to be observed. And how to identify a fraudster based on indirect signs.

  • do not keep funds on a bank card account if there is a possibility of losing it. In the Sberbank online application, you can quickly create an additional account yourself. account and before purchasing, quickly transfer the required amount from it to the card and pay. Thus, a stranger who finds the card will not be able to pay for purchases with it without entering a PIN code up to 1000 rubles if the card is contactless;
  • When paying with a smartphone if it is lost, a stranger will not be able to pay with it if there are zero rubles on the card linked to the smartphone;
  • If you know that you have 70 rubles on your card, and the caller claims that you have transactions for withdrawal of 4000, etc., this is a scammer;
  • Bank employees never ask for their clients’ card numbers - they already have almost all the information;
  • Calls are coming from an unfamiliar number like +495…. and change every time? It’s worth thinking about - this is IP telephony, “disposable” phone numbers. Customer services (or your personal manager) usually have the same phone number;
  • How does an “employee” behave when you provoke him? Angry and argumentative? Does he give the number of the unit in which he works, department, address, work phone number where he can be checked? Bank employees never raise their voices or get irritated, even if you start to directly insult them. All telephone conversations are recorded, the scammer usually hangs up first;
  • Do not share your bank card CVC code with anyone. It’s better to remember it and make it unreadable on the map.

If you still have to frequently operate with large amounts and you constantly use your card for payments, take additional security measures. Find and keep the bank's customer service number with you - if the card is stolen, you can immediately block it. The main thing is to do this immediately after the theft.

It is recommended to use as a measure of additional protection against fraudsters. Funds on deposits are insured by the state, but funds on bank cards are not. Therefore, the cardholder can do this independently. The cost of insurance is about 1,500 rubles per year, ALL your Sberbank bank cards and money on them are insured, including against fraudulent activities.

And if you nevertheless become a victim of deception, in this case Sberbank is guaranteed to return your money. And if the cards are not insured, then there is a question. For people on trips or travelers, the service is relevant, because thefts always happen somewhere along the way. Discounts for pensioners, contact the bank!

What conclusions can be drawn? Fraudsters do not have access to your funds, but they try to force us to give it to them by any means - VOLUNTARILY! If they call you, please do not panic! Hang up (or troll the caller) - the main thing is not to give them any information about yourself! Let's move on to the main topic of the article.
