Payment of benefits is carried out by regional employment services at the place of residence if the woman received official unemployed status no later than one year after the occurrence of the above circumstances.

Who should?

Pregnant girls and women can receive cash payments. The main large benefit is maternity payments. Those eligible for this benefit are listed in the Federal Law described above.

Among them are the following pregnant women:

  • pregnant girls and women working officially or under concluded contracts;
  • those who were laid off due to bankruptcy or liquidation of the enterprise;
  • those who study full-time in educational institutions;
  • undergoing military service under contract.

A woman or girl cannot receive several benefits at the same time, but this does not apply to pregnancy benefits. Maternity benefits are paid to the mother only if she is on maternity leave. If a woman goes to work after sick leave, she begins to receive wages. This means that the accrual of monthly maternity benefits stops.

For work, a woman receives wages for the actual time worked, but if she decides to take maternity leave again, the employer will pay her the necessary amount. Payment of benefits will begin 10 days after providing the required list of documents.

The list of required documents is given in the Federal Law of December 29, 2006 No. 255-FZ “On compulsory social insurance in case of temporary disability and in connection with maternity.” You will need:

What other innovations came into force in 2021

In 2021, every pregnant or postpartum woman can apply for the following benefit options:

If a family is recognized as low-income, a monthly allowance may be assigned to pregnant women in 2021, aimed at ensuring adequate nutrition for the expectant mother. When paying benefits for early registration, it is necessary to take into account that the benefit is assigned together with payment for sick leave for pregnancy. When determining the amount of benefits, one must focus on the date of issue of the certificate of incapacity for work.

For example, sick leave began on January 12, 2021, and a certificate of registration for medical treatment was provided to the accountant on March 1, 2018. The time frame for paying bonuses and benefits to pregnant women allows this category of employees to apply for social benefits within six months from the moment the right to them arises. In relation to amounts accrued for registration within the time limits specified by law, the rule of linking to a certificate of incapacity for work applies, regardless of the date of actual transfer of the document to the employer. What benefits can a non-working pregnant woman count on?

In the absence of a place of official employment, the list of benefits entitled to her and the amount of financial assistance from the state depends on the woman’s unemployed status. If this status has been assigned, then unemployment benefits are assigned to a pregnant unemployed woman. The payment is maintained for the period until the onset of leave associated with pregnancy and the upcoming delivery.

There are no benefits for unemployed pregnant women in 2021 on certificates of incapacity for work. An exception is made for several categories of future mothers who are compensated for the amount of maternity benefits:

If sick leave was provided by an unemployed pregnant woman, the 2018 benefit will be calculated based on the daily rate of 20.81 rubles. Amount of maternity benefit

The amount of maternity payments depends on the status of the recipient:

  • Working women receive benefits in the amount of 100% of average earnings

1,260,000 / (730 - 19) = 1,752.4 rubles.

But, unfortunately, Ivanova will not be able to receive this money, since the Government has limited the amount of maternity leave to 282,493.40 rubles. Therefore, all maternity leave cannot receive more than the specified amount. And our Ivanova will receive only the specified amount upon leaving.

And if such a limitation does not please everyone, then here is the minimum limit in the amount of 46,675.39 rubles. vice versa. All representatives of the fair sex who work under an employment contract cannot receive less than the established minimum. In this case, each employer is obliged to pay maternity leave, but sick leave must be submitted to the accounting departments of both employers. By the way, if at some place of work a maternity leave worker works less than the established period, then the employer has the right not to pay her such benefits.

Thus, in order to receive the maximum amount of maternity payments, it is mandatory in 2021:

  1. Be officially employed and work under an employment contract;
  2. Receive a salary of at least 69,000 rubles;
  3. When changing jobs, which a woman has changed over the past 2 years, it is mandatory to take an official document from the previous place of work and provide it to the current employer.

According to the law, individual entrepreneurs are not deprived of the right to receive maternity benefits, but for this they must be registered with the Social Insurance Fund. At the same time, it is not enough just to be registered; you must pay the necessary contributions a year before going on maternity leave. At the moment, the amount of such deductions is 2.9% of the minimum wage - the minimum wage. For example, if we consider the current year 2021, then for the entire year the amount of deductions should be 3,302 rubles. And when paying such an amount, a pregnant woman will be able to receive payments at the minimum level. This is about 44 thousand rubles. The benefit is obvious.

New benefit amounts for BIR from May 1, 2019

If maternity leave begins on May 1, 2021 or later, then the minimum average daily earnings for calculating maternity benefits should be taken equal to 367.00273. Types of assistance

Benefit amounts vary in different regions. Federal programs determine the lower threshold of assistance; local authorities have the right to apply increasing coefficients and introduce other benefits.

Maternity benefit

In connection with the increase in the minimum wage, starting from 01/01/2018, the benefit will be:

  • RUB 60,521.62 (311.967123 x 194 days) – in case of multiple pregnancy;
  • RUR 48,666.87 (311.967123 x 156 days) – for complicated childbirth.

The benefit is paid subject to sick leave being provided no later than 6 months. If she has not provided a certificate of incapacity for work, she will have to go to the Fund for money and prepare documents that explain the reasons for not providing sick leave on time.

Before using it, you need to collect the following information:

When a pregnant woman serves under a contract, serves in the internal affairs department, the penal system, or customs authorities, the benefit is calculated based on the amount of monthly allowance in monetary terms.

Payments to female students are made through the cash desk of the educational institution, after submitting the necessary documents to the accounting department.

Benefit for women who registered in the early stages of pregnancy

When a woman registers in the early stages of pregnancy, she is paid a one-time payment of 613.14 rubles. The calculation is made on the basis of a certificate from the antenatal clinic and an application within 10 days after submission. Working women, the unemployed, those laid off due to the liquidation of an enterprise, and students can count on it.

Other payments

Local budgets may provide additional payments to pregnant women:

  • Pregnant women whose spouse is serving in the army can receive a one-time benefit.
  • Providing nutrition for pregnant women.
  • Additional monthly benefit for pregnant women registered before 12 weeks.

Each region has the right to increase the amount of payments for federal benefits. Thus, in the Novosibirsk and Sverdlovsk regions the regional coefficient is 1.2; in Moscow you can count on additional maternity benefits from 7 thousand rubles. up to 9.7 thousand rubles. depending on the complexity of the birth, registration in the early stages of pregnancy is 600 rubles.
